The\u00a0Conscious Fashion Lab\u00a0<\/u><\/a>\u00a0@consciouslab23<\/u><\/a> is putting a connection with nature back at the heart of fashion, partnering with the\u00a0South Downs Trust<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in collaboration\u00a0Stanmer Organics\u00a0<\/u><\/a>\u00a0to support the woodlands around Stanmer park and Sussex tree planting initiative \u201cTrees for the Downs\u201d, due to the alarming ash die back which is devastating the local forests a direct result of the global rise in temperatures.<\/p>

The collection of Tee's here <\/u><\/a>is created to raise funds for the project created by 90's rave culture designer Sarah Ratty at Conscious Earthwear.<\/p>

A personal designer collection entitled \"re-wild me\" with a set of playful tee's based on the idea of nature, wild flower meadows and highlighting the urgency to plant wild flower meadows, hedgerows, to create sanctuaries for bee's, butterflies and other pollinators.<\/p>

RE-WILD ME<\/p>

The collection uses real pressed flowers from the uk with pressed heathers, daisies, dandelions, buttercups, clover and a range of native wild flowers, which attract pollinators like the Adonis blue butterfly, a Sussex native alongside a variety of wild bee's. With words from the songs of freedom which evoke an experience of simplicity, and harmony with nature.<\/p>

Drawing on her past experience with creating Conscious raising T-shirts for the rave scene in the early 90's with fellow artists the Scooby Doobies and David Jenkins from 21st State, who printed rave tee's with Heart Chakras, Oms, Peace and Crown Chakras alongside tee's for Soul II Soul, Mark Wigan and The Grid and a range of musical artists in 90's club culture.<\/p>

This time working with a conscious t-shirt printing company who offer the most sustainable printing options certified organic and re-cycled cotton with a range of tee's and sweatshirts and an end life policy for truly circular thinking.<\/p>

Raising funds in collaboration for\u00a0Stanmer Organics<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0The Physic Garden Project<\/u><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Trees for the Downs<\/u><\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0South Downs Trust\u00a0 <\/u><\/a>Working with the local communities at\u00a0Stanmer Organics<\/u><\/a> Creating a conscious community hub with support from Soho Beach House Brighton and the South East RSA to plant trees together.<\/p>

Creating a legacy of native hedgerow\u00a0 to re-create lost vital habitat for native species and a border to protect the nature park and increase biodiversity in the 17 acres of community park projects. To counter balance global warming with carbon sequestering and creating carbon sinks through planting a diverse selection of trees and hedgerows.<\/p>

The Conscious Fashion Show<\/u><\/a><\/h3>

The Conscious Fashion Show is the brain child of Sustainable Fashion Director\u00a0\u00a0Sarah Ratty FRSA<\/u><\/a>\u00a0the premiere UK fashion designer to actively address sustainability in the early 1990s. Sarah launched the pioneering \"Conscious Earthwear \" label in 1990's and is continuing this together as part of the Conscious Lab with Georgina Hooper to create brand new London and South East event\u2019s which place the environment at its heart.<\/p>

In collaboration with Soho Beach House Brighton. \u201cThe Conscious Fashion Show\u201d is a members event which will take place on the Spring Equinox March 21st World Tree Day and is the brainchild of Sustainable Fashion Director \u00a0Sarah Ratty FRSA,<\/u><\/a> the premiere UK fashion designer to actively address sustainability in the early 1990s. An immersive fashion experience with well known sustainable fashion brands on the runway and up for auction, including Arcteryx, Conscious Lab, Finisterre, Gresham Blake, Hope & Harlequin, ilk & Ernie, Nkwo, Noki, Native Spirit Threads, Planet Loving Company, Rebound, Sophie Darling, Story mfg. Modelled by musical artists Fusion, DJ Woody Cook, Scarlett Fae, Rosie Devine, and fellow guest models to raise funds for planting trees and hedgerows in the\u00a0South Downs Trust<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Stanmer Organics<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>
